Youtube Star Steve Cash has died of suicide.

Cash, best known as the person behind the popular “Talking Kitty” video, took his own life on Thursday, his wife revealed on Facebook.

“This is very difficult. I’m not even sure what to say, or what for, what to do. I just lost my best friend, best friend, lover, mentor, my absolute everything, this morning,” Celia DeCosta Cash wrote.

“I am very sad to say, my husband, Steve Cash took his own life this morning 16/4/2020. It hurts for me to share this. Please understand, give family time to be sad, but know that Steve is no longer in pain,” the post continued.

Based on TMZ, who first reported the news, the YouTube star died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He is 40 years old, according to the report.

The “Talking Kitty” Cash video features stars who talk to their cats as if they were humans, attracting millions of fans. As of Friday morning, the YouTube Cash channel had 2.4 million subscribers.

This actor previously opened about his mental health struggle on his YouTube channel with fans. Last year, he revealed he was suffering from bipolar disorder and depression, the outlet said.

Steve Cash is known for talking to his cats as if they were humans in his YouTube comedy series “Talking Kitty.”
