The 36-year-old singer went to Instagram on Monday to share photos of herself wearing a dress she wore on the stage while competing on “Idol.”
Yellow dress featuring a low V-cut, high thigh slits and buttons on the front.
The post contained two photos, one from McPhee wearing the dress today, and the second from McPhee wearing the dress 14 years ago, during the fifth season of a popular singing competition.
It seems that not much has changed for McPhee over the years, except for his hair, which is long and curved in a throwback photo, and only hangs behind his back in a modern photo.
“This is the 26th day of quarantine and we put out dresses from 14 years ago,” the singer wrote in her statement. “Maybe it should awaken this moment, on the red carpet, once we get out of this.”
McPhee also referenced his time on “Idol” by posting Instagram on Saturday.
The post contained a McPhee video that humorously re-created the audition for the competition event, interspersed with footage of the judges from the original audition.
The video begins with the iconic “American Idol” logo and theme music before Simon Cowell’s audio begins: “Hi honey, what’s your name?”
The signatory-actress has a conversation with the judges on the recording as if they were present in the room.
This post was made to promote the upcoming Instagram Live concert with the theme “American Idol”.
McPhee and her husband David Foster regularly hosts an Instagram Live concert during the corona virus quarantine.
