Today’s big news as Guardians of the Galaxy, Jumanji and Doctor who This star is reportedly being seen as the next star of the next film Pirates of the Caribbean.

Personally I think Karen Gillan is a fantastic actress and I have enjoyed watching her on screen since her debut Doctor who with Matt Smith in 2010.

In recent years he has proven his abilities Hollywood by starring in both guardians of the galaxy film and two Jumanji film. He is truly fantastic as Nebula guardians of the galaxy, going from Thanos’s evil daughter to Gamora’s dear sister and being the Prosecutor in End of game.

There have been rumors for a while that Redd will take over from Captain Jack Sparrow as the main character in the franchise and this latest rumor only adds fuel to the fire.

Sadly, it seems that this rumor also states that Johnny Depp will not return to the franchise (even though there were other rumors saying he would do it) for other films. It would be very embarrassing to watch a Pirates from the Caribbean film without him on our screen so hopefully, he can return if only in a supporting role.

The next film is currently being written by Chernobyl creator Craig Mazin and veterans Pirate writer Ted Elliot. This film is still looking for the director.

Because Disney makes Redd more than just a bada ** Pirate, it’s easy to understand how a film will follow this character through the story and with Karen Gillan playing the character, it will definitely be a success!

What do you think about Redd taking the lead in the next Pirates and Karen Gillan taking the lead role? Let us know in the comments below!
