Calvin Harris said doctors must ‘restart’ his heart in 2014 | Instant News

Calvin Harris said doctors must “restart” his heart in 2014.

The Scottish DJ, 36, previously related his health problems and revealed that he has an irregular heartbeat.

Speaking of the 2014 incident, he described the year as “interesting” and tweeted: “Starting with me dropping number 1 in the UK and ending with my heart starting again at the ER …”

Harris, a Grammy and Ivor Novello winner, had become one of the world’s biggest DJs in 2014, thanks to world hit songs including We Found Love and Summer.

In November of that year, he pulled out of EMA MTV in Glasgow and tweeted: “There is no EMA for me this weekend. There are several heart problems.

“Head to the house to see if it can be fixed x.”

And in 2018, Harris said he had stopped drinking alcohol four years earlier and that “while the situation was somewhat unpleasant” he had not had an irregular heartbeat since then.
