Austin, Texas (KTBC) – Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves hit the road. The American actor and producer posted on Facebook that he and Camila would travel around Texas to send masks to hospitals in rural areas.
According to its Facebook post, the 110 thousand masks they drove and took to the rural hospital were donated by Lincoln luxury vehicles.
“Thanks to facebook.com/Lincoln for donating 110 thousand masks – Camila Alves and I hit the road to take them to needy rural hospitals throughout Texas,” McConaughey wrote in a photo caption posted on Facebook.
In the photo, you can see Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila in a pickup truck full of boxes. The boxes should have been filled with masks that both of them would send to Texas Hospital.
This was not the first act of kindness from a native of Texas and his wife during the pandemic. In early April, Camila and Matthew donated 80,000 face masks to the first respondent coronavirus in Texas and Louisiana.
McConaughey and Camila had squatted in their old hometown in Austin, Texas, along with their three children and mother McConaughey, who had moved from their living facilities to be helped to join them.
