In tonight’s episode of the BBC Adam Frost gardening series, 50 celebrates seasonal plants that bloom in his garden and shares his plans to turn part of the plot into a seating area. The Gardeners’ World host was known for his success at the Chelsea Flower Show before becoming a presenter.
Who is Adam Frost?
Adam began his career building the Geoff Hamilton gardens for the BBC at Barnsdale.
Adam had previously revealed that he had a break from Worlds Garden because of his work with Geoff.
Last year in an episode of Gardeners Worlds Adam said: “I used to work for Geoff. I really got a job with him when I was 21 years old.
“I worked with him for about six, seven years. He sent me away to practice design.
“I look back now, and that is an extraordinary time.
“He talked about subjects like damage in our countryside 30 years ago, and that was the same conversation that we had today.
“We were involved in the first World Live Gardeners, which was very strange. So my relationship with him was too long, even for my own preference.”
Speaking with Beautiful House in 2018, about moving to their farmhouse in Lincolnshire Adam opened up his family life.
Adam said: “I have four beautiful children and I want them to have a better childhood than myself.
“We’re a very close group, and I can’t think of a better place to live than here.
“Girls have their own horses, and boys have room to play football.
“The weekend is spent watching from the sidelines of the match and bringing the girls to horse club events.”
Gardener ‘World continues tonight on BBC Two at 9 p.m.
