The legend of SHOWBAND, Brendan Bowyer, almost died on stage doing his last performance, said a friend.
The Irish music world is mourning this weekend at sad news that Ireland’s answer to Elvis has died at his home in Las Vegas, 81 years old.
Promoter Tommy Swarbrigg has revealed how he fears the Hucklebuck singer will die on stage during his last show here in December 2017.
Tommy told Irish Sun: “Brendan got off the plane from his house at Las Vegas looks fine.
“We didn’t know there was something wrong with him, but as soon as he got on the stage, we knew something was wrong. He was completely exhausted himself doing all the big hits and somehow made it to the end of his set. “
