Promoter Tommy Swarbrigg has revealed how he fears the Hucklebuck singer will die on stage during his last show here in December 2017.

Tommy told Irish Sun: “Brendan got off the plane from his house at Las Vegas looks fine.

“We didn’t know there was something wrong with him, but as soon as he got on the stage, we knew something was wrong. He was completely exhausted himself doing all the big hits and somehow made it to the end of his set. “

‘KEEP TOO MUCH’

Tommy added: “It’s clear that he has pushed himself too far and we have to make it Hospital.

“We thought we could get back on the road until a doctor told us that there would be no showband” for Brendan. “

Brendan must return to WE.

Tommy added: “He left on his last flight, after playing his last show.

“He was truly a professional at giving the best performance to the end.”

Brendan, from Waterford, enjoyed a series of numbers overlooking the Royal Showband and The Big Eight.

He died on Friday surrounded by his family.

Tommy said: “Brendan appears together Elvis. In many ways he is Elvis in Ireland. “
