Fried, 26, is 7-0 with 2.25 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 50 strikeouts in 56 innings in the regular season. So far in the three playoff games started, he has reached 2.65 ERA and the Braves have won all three. He only allowed one point in six innings in Game 1, scoring nine points.
Buehler, 26, is 1-0 with 3.44 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 42 strikeouts in 36 2/3 innings during the regular season. He deals with scuffs for most of the season. In the three playoff starts, he recorded 2.77 ERA with 23 strikeouts in 13 innings. In Game 1, he only allowed one run in five innings with seven strikeouts, but he also made five runs.
The two bullpens may be a little tired overall but not completely overworked or whatever, as both teams have such incredible depth.
We’ve come this far, so why not go far? The Dodgers are a better and more knowledgeable team overall, so they’ll win Game 6 and stake everything on Sunday in Game 7 which promises to be awesome.
