Bloody edge

Ninja theory, the studio behind DmC: Devil May Cry, released the new 4v4 team fighter game that was reminiscent of Overwatch. Players choose between twelve different characters, each with a long-range or melee attack, as well as three special abilities and one final move. Each character is also grouped as one of three types of classes: damage, support, or tank.

Currently there are only four different map options available at Bloody edge. However, each offers unique environmental hazards that can be exploited by characters with their unique abilities. Players will choose between two different game modes, the first is the king style where players need to work with their team to occupy and maintain points on the map from other teams as they try to collect. It takes 600 points to claim victory. In the second mode, players will find themselves searching on the map to collect power cells, but players must wait for the drop zone to be available to give cells and get their team’s points so that they can become free-for-all with both teams fighting to steal cells from their opponents to take victory.

Wave 2

This roleplaying third-person action game is set in a dystopian future where humanity is on the verge of extinction, and the planet’s resources are all gone. Players can adjust their character early in the game, and various weapons and armor, as well as implants, will further make individual game choices. There is a level of strategy for Wave 2, because both the armor and the implant will consume core strength, one of the general statistics of the character, so the player must choose and choose the armor that will be made and which implant to use without full drying power.

The fighting mechanics in this game are very focused on stamina, punishing players for both button-pressing and relying too much on blocking attacks. Instead, players must focus on attacks on time, target certain limbs for weakness and watch enemy attack patterns to avoid unnecessary attacks, draining stamina.

Surviving Mars

If you are looking for something a little less action-packed, Surviving Mars maybe a nice change of pace. From the developer Tropico series, this city development simulation places players on Mars to build and maintain settlements. Developers use real data to model the game to provide more realism, and, unlike traditional city development games, players need to prioritize oxygen, shelter, food, and shelter if they hope to succeed. Other resources, such as metal and concrete, will also be needed to build and maintain biomes where the population will live. Resources for sustaining life on the red planet are limited, so players need to plan ahead so that disaster does not occur.

There are also mysteries to be discovered that can help or hinder settlements, from finding new scientific discoveries or releasing an epidemic among your settlers. Players might even discover that they are not the only ones living on this planet.

Astroneer

Another of these world games for players to enjoy is the space-themed sandbox adventure game, Astroneer. At the start of their journey, players will be given several tools and will find themselves on a home planet, mostly without life, and the freedom to explore the solar system. The planets found here will have resources that players can harvest to make goods and build on their own home planet. There are no real goals or narratives to follow. However, players need to regulate their oxygen on alien planets as they search for resources. All operations, whether it is repairing raw materials or making new tools, will consume power. The player will be able to control the speed of operations completed by supplying each operation with power, allowing prioritizing tasks.

Without searching or other goals to follow, Astroneer can be a very relaxing video game experience for players who want to relax.

My time in Portia

Farm life simulators and role playing genres come together My time in Portia. The characters find themselves in the strange new city of Portia as the owner of their father’s old building repair shop. This is in terrible damage, and the players need to work to restore the workshop while also planting plants and raising animals. Valuable resources can be found around Portia, and if the character has enough funds, players can send them to the mine. Scary monsters and bosses can be found in the depths of the mine, so players must keep weapons in hand if they plan to dig deep underground.

When characters take action, their stamina will decrease, and if it runs empty, they will be able to do a little more than move and will not be able to collect items or protect themselves. While stamina can recover by eating certain foods, the only surefire way to replenish stamina is to sleep. Time will pass in Portia when the players go through their day, but they will only have until 3am to complete the task, or their characters will fall asleep automatically, and they will wake up in their beds. Days and seasons will pass, and players will be able to participate in festivals with city dwellers, and this festival is a great way to build relationships with the people of Portia.
