BTI rant and babbling: Calipari Loves It Some Game of Revenge | Instant News

England are serious underdogs tonight and that’s understandable for sure. Alabama played as well as anyone not named Gonzaga and Baylor at the moment, they played a style that didn’t seem to favor the Cats, and the first encounter was an absolute defeat at Rupp. But I want everyone to remember that England are fighting as a team with nothing to lose, especially tonight in Alabama. Nobody expected them to win. But John Calipari’s team actually fared quite well when they faced opponents in the same season who beat them in the previous fight.

It has happened 27 times (those in bold in England lost both fights):

21-6 combined record in a follow-up fight for Kentucky against the opponent who defeated them in the first fight. That doesn’t mean they can’t be completely defeated tonight. They are the underdogs. It just means that Cal has found a way to make adjustments and get his group motivated and prepared for revenge for the circumstances they faced tonight in Tuscaloosa.

I love Cats fighting the spread tonight and I think if you have a few extra scratches to throw, bet them to win straight and make a few bucks.
