A toddler recovered in hospital after being shot at Pontiac.
The 4-year-old boy was shot in his living room while playing video games with his father on Monday morning, April 6.
Based on FOX-2 Detroit, someone fired at a house in 300 blocks of Going Street, which is near Sanford and Osmun streets.
People inside the house heard gunfire and saw debris flying before they came down to the floor. That’s when the boy’s mother saw he had been shot in the shoulder.
The mother took her son to the St. Hospital. Joseph’s Mercy, where he was stabilized before being transferred to another hospital.
Police said two adults in their 20s and four children under the age of 10 were inside, FOX-2 Detroit report.
No one else in the house was injured in the shooting.
Police found three used bullet casings in the front yard.
The incident is being investigated. Police have not released information about the suspect or motive.
