Universal Games and Digital Platforms and Zynga collaborate to bring more Fast & Furious Cars to CSR Racing 2 mobile game. This means that cars inspired by the Universal Pictures blockbuster series will appear in the game through a series of special events.
Zynga has featured Fast & Furious cars in limited events in the past, including at the last two springs. Now it will collaborate once again with Universal Games and Digital Platform, a division of NBCUniversal, to bring additional iconic cars from the film Fast & Furious Universal Pictures to the popular mobile drag racing game, CSR Racing 2 (CSR2) so far this year.
CSR2 will launch a series of events in the game that gives players the chance to race popular cars from all of Fast Fast, including the 1970 Dodge Charger Daytona, Veilside Honda S2000 2001 and Volkswagen Jetta 1995. The first event will be aired in the game starting in mid-April with additional events that launched later this year.
In-game events are a way for Zynga to lure players back, and it helps by continuing monetization for the game. In that case, partnership is very important for the popularity and revenue generated for the game.
Universal, meanwhile, turn off publishing his internal game business last fall and said it would focus on licensing its film brand to gaming companies.
