Royal Attire on display at Hendersonville | News | Instant News

HEDERSONVILLE, TN (WSMV) – The elegance of Royal Fashion has spread from London to Hendersonville over the next few months.

The exhibition at the Monthaven Center for Arts and Culture includes a dress beautifully worn by Princess Diana.

The dress gallery, which is now on display until January 9, 2022, mostly represents the high class and style of the Royal family.

“People love it, and that just goes to show the complexity this dressmaker has created,” said Monthaven Chief Executive Officer Cheryl Strichik.

Most famous for its 25 foot imprint wedding gown, which is here as a replica, the rest straight from the wardrobes of those who wear it, since the 1800s.

The dresses are all from Pat Kerr’s private collection.

One dress in particular is known as the Spanish Dancer.

“She was the first person in the royal family to wear fake pearls and it was really shocking, but then it was so cool that everyone had to wear them,” Strichik said.

Likewise with Falcon, the name is clearly visible from the design, which was worn by Princess Diana when she met the King of Saudi Arabia.

“She is the daughter of the people. Everyone loves her and wants to emulate what she wears,” said Strichik.

The dresses scream style for the princess, but the photos fully honor her as a mother. In the part of his life, which always comes first.
