DELAWARE – Cancer didn’t stop during the covid-19 pandemic, and that’s why the American Cancer Society Holiday Wrappings fashion show will go virtual this year. The virtual show will highlight fashions from local retailers, share holiday food and drink recipes, and gift ideas. All in all, in an effort to raise funds and awareness for cancer research.
Dawne Pappas, chairman of the event, said he and other organizers knew they still had to hold the event although it had to adjust slightly.
“The cancer hasn’t stopped and we can’t either, because people still need treatment, there are still researchers out there who are working really hard,” he said.
If you want a virtual seat at the event, you can buy a ticket here. All money will go to ResearchHERS, an all-female cancer-fighting movement.
