FIA arrests man stealing money through fake BISP ATM cards

GUJRANWALA: The Federal Investigation Company (FIA) has arrested a person and girl accused of stealing cash from financial institution accounts belonging to recipients of the Benazir Revenue Assist Programme (BISP).

In response to FIA’s cyber-crime unit’s assistant director Asif Iqbal, the accused, Waseem Farooq, is the financial institution supervisor of a personal financial institution in Lahore’s Defence space. The financial institution had information of BISP recipients from over the nation and Farooq sorted that information.

Farooq solid ATM playing cards of BISP recipients to withdraw money himself. He was caught whereas attempting to withdraw money from an ATM in Gujranwala. FIA has recovered round 100 pretend ATM playing cards from his custody.
