First try at Azadi March negotiations ends in stalemate

The primary spherical of talks between authorities’s negotiation committee and opposition’s Rehbar Committee on Tuesday ended with no progress on both facet.

Addressing a press convention after the assembly, Defence Minister and head of the federal government’s committee Pervaiz Khattak revealed that almost all of the calls for of the Rahber Committee have heen met. 

 He mentioned that Rehbar committee should speak to its leaders as the federal government was all the time prepared for dialogue.

“We’re looking for center approach as that is the one approach to finish the stalemate”, Khattak mentioned

The Head of the Rehbar Committee Akram Durrani on the event, nonetheless,  mentioned that the JUI-F was “firmly sticking”  to its calls for, particularly that of the resignation of Prime Minister Imran Khan and new elections.

PM Khan had earlier mentioned that the federal government was prepared to just accept the opposition’s authorized calls for, if authentic underneath the regulation and structure, and if the opposition was prepared to return to the negotiating desk.
