Traveling Food Pantry will be present at East High School on Wednesday | Instant News


YOUNGSTOWN – The Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley in collaboration with Youngstown City Schools and the Ohio National Guard will host the Traveling Food Pantry distribution at East High School, 474 Bennington Ave, at 11am Wednesday morning (June 3).

The food bank and members of the Ohio National Guard are ready to serve more than 600 families, according to news releases.

Food will be distributed in front of the school. All vehicles participating in distribution must enter from East High Avenue. To participate in contactless distribution, the recipient’s trunk must be open and free of all items, and the window must be rolled up. Recipients must not get out of their vehicles for any reason.

Traveling Food Pantry will stop next at Beaver Local Schools at 11:00 Thursday and Wellsville High School on 11 June. 8. Other dates and locations will be released this weekend, according to the release.
