The popular MOMOlicious food truck specializing in Nepalese food was discovered after being taken from the Emeryville parking lot last week.
In an update sent to social media at 11:06 pm. Friday, operator MOMOlicious said the truck, which was stolen Wednesday, was found in West Oakland on Friday.
“It takes a while for this baby to recover,” post the word.
The owner did not give specific details about where the truck was located or by whom. The owner thanked Oakland and Emeryville police for their role in recovering the truck, but the police did not immediately answer calls for further details.
The adjusted 24-foot-10-foot red truck is expected to be reopened for business on Pleasant Hill on Friday but was taken from many on 63rd Street and Overland Avneue near its commission kitchen in Emeryville while the owner was inside. . They found the truck disappear around 7:30 p.m., about 30 minutes after parked.
The owner left the key in the ignition and the truck was running.
The owner said they would use a spare truck used in San Francisco until the stolen operation.
