Knott’s Berry Farm adds Taste of Merry Farm to host a food and beer festival – Orange County Register | Instant News

Knott’s Berry Farm plans to add holiday wrinkles to its food, beer and wine shows with the new Taste of Merry Farm while the Buena Park theme park awaits to fully reopen under California pandemic guidelines.

The Taste of Merry Farm craft beer and food show will take place on the 31st November 20 to January 3 at Knott’s.

The Taste of Merry Farm takes the concept Taste of Fall-O-Ween which runs until November 1 and previous Taste of Knott’s and Taste of Calico events and adds a touch of winter holidays with menus celebrating seasonal flavors.

Private ticket events use the park’s food and drink stands while Knott’s rides and attractions remain closed indefinitely.

The Taste of Fall-O-Ween menu will feature over 60 food and drink items including Ode to Santa eggnog with candy cane cake, Blitzen Christmas tree Bundt cake, Comet maple-covered cinnamon buns, Scrooge spicy wings, turkey dinner tater tots and Chocolate peppermint cheesecake bars.

Knott’s will decorate the park with Christmas decorations with thousands of lights and be miles away from the garland for the event.

Knott retail store along with two dozen local artisan craft outlets will open for holiday shopping.

Event admission tickets will be limited to ensure capacity is reduced which could lead to a sold out date for the event.

Visitors must purchase a prior date special tasting card on the Knott website or app which will serve as a Taste of Merry Farm entry ticket. A Taste of Merry Farm tasting card will cost $ 40 for five tasting meals and $ 20 for a junior card that fits three tastes.
