LONDON, April 7 (Reuters) – Germany will launch its first 15-year government bond in May through a bank syndicate, the country’s debt agency said on Tuesday.
The new bonds, which will mature in May 2035, are part of the country’s plan to increase debt issuance to fund coronavirus programs, the debt agency said.
The reopening of the bonds is planned for June, through a more regular auction program in Germany. (Reporting by Abhinav Ramnarayan, editing by Sinead Cruise)
