MUNICH, Germany (NBC NEWS) – Curious squirrels have become friends with German families and can now enjoy their own miniature beer garden.

The squirrel is just “Peanuts” about a small picnic table made especially for its small claws.

A ten-year-old boy who was tired of building a table after he found himself having a lot of free time due to the coronavirus pandemic.

And when its territory in southern Germany reopens its beer garden this week, squirrels can join the bavarian tradition.

He and his mother had left food on the table, complete with small beer cups filled with beans, seeds, and raisins.

They named the curious squirrel “Madame.”

He now visits their terrace at least once a day.

Madame now has her own Instagram account in which several people have assigned the ten-year-old to create a similar small table for them.
