Girl sends apology letter to police after accidentally calling 999 on New Year’s Eve

A six-year-old woman wrote a heartfelt apology to police after by accident calling 999 on New 12 months’s Eve.

Izzy Vardy was enjoying together with her mom’s locked cell phone when, with out understanding what she was doing, she pressed emergency name a number of occasions.

Her mum was “very cross” after answering a name from the management room and defined the significance of solely dialling 999 in an emergency.


To make up for the error, Izzy, from Annesley, in Nottinghamshire, despatched police a field of biscuits and a letter to apologise.

The letter learn: “I am so, so sorry to you all and my mummy and daddy.
