Mohammad Afzaal, the daddy of Faisalabad ATM robber who died in Rahim Yar Khan police’s custody in September,
pardoned the policemen concerned in torturing his son to loss of life on Jamaat-ud-Dawah chief Hafiz Saeed’s request, the BBC Urdu reported Monday.
Afzaal introduced pardoning the policemen concerned in torturing his son, Salahuddin, to loss of life at a mosque in Gujranwala final week.
He instructed BBC Urdu that he pardoned the policemen of his free will. Nevertheless, Afzaal stated he obtained Saeed’s message from Lahore’s camp jail.
“I used to be taken to the jail and Hafiz Sahab gave me three choices: the policemen are able to face the punishment if you need; they’re prepared to provide you cash in the event you demand blood cash; or you may forgive them for Allah,” Afzaal was quoted as saying.
In response to the police, Salahuddin died of their custody after struggling a coronary heart assault following his arrest in Rahim Yar Khan.
His father had earlier claimed that his son was brutally tortured in police custody.
All of the three policemen, together with SHO Mehmoodul Hassan, have been
reinstated after they have been pardoned by Salahuddin’s father, in accordance with
a spokesperson for the Rahim Yar Khan police. They’ve been instructed to
report back to the Police Traces.
