Cases are based on sex, age and condition
Across the state, including Mohave County, cases of the virus have been identified in more women than men. In Mohave County, 201 women and 123 men tested positive for the corona virus on Monday night.
53% of cases in all states are women, while 47 percent are men, according to ADHS.
In the county, 128 patients aged 65 and older, and 102 cases were in the age range of 20-44. The last age range beats across the state, with 6,610 cases at ages 20 to 44 years and 3,463 in the 65+ age range.
While underlying health conditions make a person more at risk of developing the disease, most people who test positive throughout the state do not have it. About 29% of the country’s cases have chronic medical conditions, such as kidney disease, lung disease, hypertension, heart disease, diabetes or liver disease.
