Pakistan’s Ministry of International Affairs Director-Normal for South Asia and SAARC Dr Mohammad Faisal on Monday summoned the Indian Deputy Excessive Commissioner Gaurav Ahluwalia to sentence the unprovoked ceasefire violations by Indian occupying forces alongside the Line of Management (LoC).
Dr Faisal urged the Indian facet to respect the 2003 ceasefire association and launch an investigation into the latest and previous incidents of violations.
He additionally pressured that Indian forces ought to respect the ceasefire in letter and spirit and keep peace on the LoC and Working Boundary. “He urged that the Indian facet ought to allow UNMOGIP to play its mandated position as per the UN Safety Council resolutions,” mentioned a press launch by the Ministry of International Affairs.
On Sunday, one civilian was martyred and 4 others injured in ceasefire violations by Indian forces that are constantly concentrating on civilian populated areas alongside the LoC and Working Boundary.
