TEHRAN: Iran on Monday confirmed an explosion at one in every of its satellite tv for pc launch pads, saying it was resulting from a technical fault, and criticised US President Donald Trump for “gleefully” tweeting about it.
Trump stated the US had nothing to do with what he referred to as a “catastrophic accident” at Semnan House Centre in a tweet on Friday alongside a high-resolution image pointing to obvious injury on the website.
Authorities spokesman Ali Rabiei stated the launch pad had been vacant when final week´s explosion occurred, in Iran´s first admission that an accident occurred on the area centre within the north of the nation.
“The explosion was within the launch pad and a satellite tv for pc had not but been transferred there,” Rabiei instructed state tv. “Happily, no one was killed on this incident. It was a technical problem… and it´s now clear how this occurred.”
