If you want a peek at a big slice of American pie, America’s Last Little Italy: The Hill debut tonight (30 November 2020) at the PBS St. Louis outlet, Channel 9.

After being screened at the film festival, this documentary will make a big debut tonight where it can be watched throughout the region for free.

Focuses on the history and environmental heritage of St. Petersburg. Louis’ Hill, this documentary explores the story of an Italian immigrant family who walk into this small corner of this southern city and build their own community while pursuing the American Dream.

This film explores the food, family, religion and history of the people who have continued to thrive in their close-knit environment to this day.

Besides being shown across Nine Networks It’s 7pm tonight, the film is also scheduled to air on Sunday, December 6 at 4pm – because everyone loves Italian leftovers.
