LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – All Kroger stores in Michigan will adjust pharmacy hours to encourage customers to reduce the number of shopping trips and use pickup and delivery services.
Starting Wednesday, April 8, Kroger’s pharmacy will open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 7 pm. On Saturdays the pharmacy will open from 9 am to 5 pm. and Sundays from 11 am to 5 pm
The grocery store will also adjust the hours on Easter Sunday so employees can spend time with their families.
“Our colleagues continue to work hard every day, keeping the shelves full and the shops clean and sanitized,” said Rachel Hurst, manager of corporate affairs, The Kroger Co. of Michigan. “Adjusting the hours will give our employees more time to rest and be with their families.”
The store will open from 7am to 4pm, pick-up orders from 7am to 3pm, and pharmacies will start from 11am to 4pm.
Currently Kroger is open from 7 am to 9 pm. with the first hour on Monday, Wednesday and Friday set aside for people 60 or older, pregnant women, first responders and those who have a weak immune system.
