Jerry Seinfeld says Oscars got ‘screwed’ when Kevin Hart stepped down as host


Kevin Hart‘s withdrawal as Oscars host will not harm him in the long term, Jerry Seinfeld has predicted.

The comic urged throughout an interview with Sunday Today that Hart is not the one who obtained “screwed” when he gave up on the internet hosting gig.

Hart introduced earlier this month he would step down as host after being criticised for previous homophobic tweets.

The ceremony is ready to happen on 24 February and no alternative for Hart has been introduced.
