Kansas RB Pooka Williams suspended after arrest on suspension of domestic battery | NCAA Football

College of Kansas operating again Pooka Williams has been suspended from the workforce following his arrest Thursday on suspicion of home battery, in response to The Kansas City Star

Coach Les Miles launched an announcement Friday, acknowledging the incident and saying Williams’ suspension. 

“We’re conscious of a reported incident involving Pooka Williams and we’re taking these allegations very severely,” Miles stated in an announcement. “Now we have suspended Pooka from all team-related actions pending additional investigation.”

In response to a police report obtained by the Star from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Workplace, Williams’ arrest befell at three p.m. native time Thursday and a bond has not been set. He was arrested for “Home battery; understanding or reckless bodily hurt to household/particular person in courting relationship.”

Williams was named the Huge 12’s offensive freshman of the 12 months and a first-team all-Huge 12 choice as each operating again and kick returner. He rushed for 1,125 yards this season.
