LeBron James is taking steps towards getting again on the courtroom.
The 34-year-old Lakers star is progressing in his return from a groin pressure and has been cleared to “enhance on-court useful basketball actions,” the team announced Thursday. James will likely be re-evaluated once more Wednesday.
James has not performed since struggling the damage within the third quarter of Los Angeles’ win over the Warriors on Dec. 25. He met with trainers on the courtroom, appeared to inform them he “felt it pop” after which headed to the locker room with out help.
James underwent an MRI the next day and stated on Twitter he “dodged a bullet.” However, he has missed the Lakers’ final eight video games. Los Angles has tallied a 3-5 file in his absence.
Los Angeles signed James to a four-year, $153.Three million contract in July. He’s averaging 27.Three factors, 8.Three rebounds and seven.1 assists in 34.6 minutes per sport this season.
The Lakers will face the Jazz in Utah on Friday. They’re going to enter that matchup with a 23-19 file.
