NAB files second corruption reference against Fawad Hassan Fawad

LAHORE: The Nationwide Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed a second corruption reference in opposition to Fawad Hassan Fawad, principal secretary of ex-premier Nawaz Sharif, for possessing belongings past recognized sources of revenue, ARY Information reported Monday.

The investigations in opposition to Fawad Hassan Fawad had been initiated on October 12, 2018 by the NAB Lahore.

The chairman NAB had accepted submitting a second reference in opposition to Fawad on March 15, and it was formally filed at present (March 18), the accountability watchdog mentioned.

Director common NAB, Lahore, mentioned the authority was strictly implementing the orders of the NAB chairman. “Inquiries in corruption circumstances on the premise of benefit will proceed,” the NAB mentioned.

The NAB had first taken Fawad into custody in July 2018 within the Ashiana Iqbal Housing Scheme scandal.
