Cyber security specialist Attivo Networks has appointed Exclusive Networks as the first distributor in New Zealand, entering the market before a new privacy law comes into force in December.
Attivo said the appointment would enable him to expand the channel reseller footprint quickly and accelerate growth when the New Zealand company seeks early detection, forensics, and automatic incident response capabilities.
“Exclusive Networks is highly respected and offers an unbeatable value proposition in providing valuable customers and retail partnerships,” said Jim Cook, ANZ regional director at Attivo Networks.
“Their appointment will enable us to incorporate turbo costs into the New Zealand market and we look forward to building mutual success and momentum in the coming years.”
Exclusive Networks is a global specialist distributor for cybersecurity and cloud solutions, working with retail partners who understand fast-growing security developments and have the skills and experience to deploy new solutions.
Jeff Clynes, country manager of Exclusive Networks for New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, said the distributor did not focus on sales volume, but looked at overall vendor solutions and what added value could be given to customers and vendors.
Attivo fraud technology provides active defense for early detection, forensics, and automatic incident response to network attacks, overcoming the problem of how to detect and defend against attacks that avoid perimeter defenses.
“Attivo gives New Zealand’s private and public sector organizations a new way to deal with cyber attacks with proactive leading competitive technological intelligence in finding and searching for what might get into the network rather than waiting for violations to occur,” Clynes said.
“This is a new technology offering that will give us the opportunity to have new conversations with our retail partners about the value of data and support organizations with additional reporting requirements that will come into force when the new privacy laws come into force in December”
The addition of Attivo will also complement the existing vendor product portfolio owned by Exclusive Networks with organizations such as LogRhythm and SentinelOne.
As part of the agreement, Attivo Networks will support the Exclusive Network with joint sales efforts, technical training, certification programs, and marketing resources and access to a web-based learning environment.
In turn, the Exclusive Network will also integrate the Attivo Network into partner support hubs to ensure channel partners have all the tools needed to drive mutual business success.
