Bollywood films have global appeal. They are a thrilling mix of melodrama, romance, thrills and beats. The depiction of the song is one of a kind, characterized by local colors and dancers. Foot tapping numbers are very popular not only in India, but also in other parts of the world. That includes New Zealand too.

The Wellington Indian Association is a community organization founded in 1925 to foster Indian culture for Indian people in Wellington.

The association organizes a cultural event which features officers from The New Zealand Police College dancing to Bollywood numbers.

In the video, the officers are seen dancing to the strains of songs such as ‘Ladki Beautiful ho gayi chul’ and the famous ‘Kaala Chashma’.

Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit shared the video on her official social media accounts and highlighted the community’s efforts.
