ISLAMABAD: Oil and Fuel Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Friday has authorized a rise of 45 p.c in costs of fuel.
OGRA stated that the hike in fuel value is made due the devaluation of rupee.
OGRA has proposed enhance in costs of fuel from July 1. The fuel costs will likely be utilized after the notification from authorities.
Fuel value for the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa shoppers has been elevated by Rs236 per MMBTU. Whereas, fuel value for Sindh and Balochistan has been elevated by Rs159 per MMBTU.
In accordance with OGRA the increment in fuel costs has been made for monetary 12 months 2019-20.
