Omar Ayub assures oil tanker affiliation of addressing their grievances  

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Vitality Omar Ayub on Wednesday assured the representatives of Oil Tanker Affiliation and Contractors of addressing their grievances, ARY Information reported.

In accordance with an announcement issued from the ministry, the representatives of the affiliation referred to as on the federal minister in Petroleum Division and apprised him about their points associated to grease transportation.

Talking on the event, Omar Ayub assured them to deal with the issues being confronted by oil tanker affiliation. He directed DG Oil to chalk out a complete plan for oil transportation in addition to a contingency plan if any redundant present oil pipelines with help of OGRA.

The minister directed to expedite steps for enchancment of the gas transportation system whereas maintaining in view worldwide protocols, learn the assertion.

 The delegation requested to increase the deadline for revamping of complainant oil tankers for 2 years as a way to meet requirements set by OGRA and NHA after the incident of Ahmad Pur Sharqiya underneath the 2009 technical requirements OGRA rule for the transportation of petrol. The deadline is expiring on 26th October, 2019.
