Pakistan Military responds to cross-LoC firing, kills 9 Indian troopers

RAWALPINDI: No less than 9 Indian troopers killed and two bunkers destroyed by Pakistan Military in retaliation to unprovoked firing that focused civilians close to the Line of Management (LoC), Director-Common Inter-Providers Public Relations (DG-ISPR) mentioned in a press release on Sunday.

Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing in violation of ceasefire line to intentionally concentrating on civillians in Jura, Shahkot and Nousehri Sectors, DG-ISPR mentioned in a tweet.

In response to the provocation, Pakistan navy troops successfully responded, leaving 9 Indian troopers killed and a number of other injured, whereas, two bunkers had been additionally destroyed.

The police officer mentioned that the household was killed after a mortar shell, fired by Indian troops, hit their home positioned in Naza Pir sector space of Rawalakot.

The deceased had been recognized as Ghulam Muhammad, Haider, 10 and Maryam, 11, whereas Amna bibi, Safeena bibi, Naseeb Jan and different had been injured.
