Pakistan Military responds to cross-LoC firing, kills 9 Indian troopers

RAWALPINDI: No less than 9 Indian troopers killed and two bunkers destroyed by Pakistan Military in retaliation to unprovoked firing that focused civilians close to the Line of Management (LoC), Director-Basic Inter-Providers Public Relations (DG-ISPR) mentioned in an announcement on Sunday.

Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing in violation of ceasefire line to intentionally concentrating on civillians in Jura, Shahkot and Nousehri Sectors, DG-ISPR mentioned in a tweet.

In response to the provocation, Pakistan army troops successfully responded, leaving 9 Indian troopers killed and several other injured, whereas, two bunkers had been additionally destroyed.

Through the alternate of fireside, one Pakistani soldier and three civilians had been martyred, whereas, two troopers and 5 civilians wounded, mentioned DG-ISPR. The martyred soldier is recognized as Lance Naik Zahid. The injured civilians had been shifted to district hospitals.

The director-general condemned the unprovoked firing, saying, “Concentrating on harmless civilians by Indian Military is an try and justify their false claims of concentrating on alleged camps. Injured civilians evacuated to District hospitals. UNMOGIP [United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan] in addition to home & international media have open entry to AJK [Azad Jammu and Kashmir], a liberty not accessible in IOJ&Okay [Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir].”

Earlier, two youngsters amongst three members of a household had been martyred and 7 others injured in unprovoked Indian shelling from throughout the restive Line of Management (LoC) on October 15.

Speaking to journalists, Kahuta’s superintendent of police (SP) mentioned that Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing in Rawalakot sector throughout the LoC and resultantly three members of a household had been martyred and 7 others obtained severe accidents. He mentioned that the rescue officers shifted the our bodies and the injured to the hospital.

The police officer mentioned that the household was killed after a mortar shell, fired by Indian troops, hit their home situated in Naza Pir sector space of Rawalakot.

The deceased had been recognized as Ghulam Muhammad, Haider, 10 and Maryam, 11, whereas Amna bibi, Safeena bibi, Naseeb Jan and different had been injured.
