Pakistan, Turkey, Malaysia to launch BBC kind English language TV Channel: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday shared an image of his assembly with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Malaysian Counterpart Mahathir Mohamad on the sidelines of latest UN Basic Meeting session in New York through which they determined to arrange a BBC kind English language TV Channel.

The prime minister in his tweet stated, other than highlighting Muslim points, the channel can even combat Islamophobia.

On September 26, Pakistan, Turkey and Malaysia had determined to launch a joint English channel to counter Islamophobia.

The choice was taken following a trilateral assembly between Prime Minister Imran Khan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Mahathir Muhammad of Malaysia n New York.
