COAS said that Naval War College is a prestigious Pakistani Navy institution.

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Army Chief of Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday visited the Navy War College Lahore.

According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), upon arrival at Navy War College, Rear Admiral Muhammad Zubair Shafiq received COAS.

The Lahore Corps Commander Lieutenant General Majid Ahsan was also present at the occasion.

During the visit, General Qamar Javed Bajwa laid flowers at Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered Fateha.

He addressed the 49th Navy Staff Course participants and faculty members from Pakistan Navy War College.

While appreciating, COAS said that the Naval War College was a prestigious institution of the Pakistani Navy, where officers of the Pakistan Armed Forces and friendly countries were trained to assume the appointment of key Command and Staff.

He praised that the Pakistani Navy with a proud history of courage and sacrifice as a formidable force has always fulfilled the nation’s expectations in defending the maritime borders of the homeland.

General Bajwa also focuses on the geostrategic environment, security challenges and opportunities for Pakistan.
