A day after the Lahore private school fired four employees, including teachers, accused of sexual harassment of multiple female students, the chief Minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar noticed the incident on Wednesday.
The chief Minister directed CCPO Lahore to conduct an objective and impartial investigation of the incident, adding that the harassment of students will not be tolerated at any cost.
“The case against the accused should be adopted in accordance with the law,” said Buzdar see He added that the affected students will be provided justice at any cost.
On Tuesday, four employees of a private school in Lahore, including the teacher, was fired by the administration after they were accused of sexual harassment against female students.
Many students stated that they were subject to persecution, starting in 2016, but decided to report the incidents to management after became unbearable.
According to the school administration, four persons against whom the complaint was filed included a chemistry teacher, administrative Director, accountant, and janitor.
Federal Minister for human rights Dr. Shireen Mazari also drew attention to the incident and said that the Ministry of human rights (Mohr) the 1099 hotline available for complaints, and to help the victims.
