Lahore:the Punjab Finance Department has sanctioned and released an amount PC1.670 billion seven waste management companies to provide municipal services.

An email with the subject “funding for seven solid waste management companies for the first quarter in 2020-21 serial” stated that the Department of Finance shall sanction and release the amount of PC1,670.166 million pending allocation of funds within the technical supplementary grant in serial 2020-21, to maintain municipal services in the respective cities (1 block) against an equal surrender from the allocation under grant no. PC 21031(031)-miscellaneous, 01-the major public service.

He said that the Lahore waste management companies (LWMC) has received Rs775.740 million, the management company Gujranwala waste got Rs126 million, the Faisalabad waste management companies received Rs285.666 million, Sialkot company waste management has received Rs42.240 million, Rawalpindi company waste management has received Rs199.950 million, Multan company on waste management from Rs204.570 million and the company Bahawalpur waste received Rs36 million. The letter stated that the Department of Finance agreed to place these funds in the SDA no 248 Secretary, LG and CD Department jointly operated by the Secretary, the management of LG&CD and section officerGeneral L. and a CD of the Department for further distribution in these companies.
