The court postpones the prosecution of Zardari in the case of Park lane

Islamabad (Dunya news) – accountability court on Monday postponed the sentencing of former President and Pakistan peoples party (PPP) co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari in the case of Park lane and postponed the hearing to July 14.

During the hearing, the lawyer of Asif Ali Zardari, Farooq H NAEK filed a petition seeking the cancellation of Park lane, a reference was filed by National audit Bureau (NAB) and told the court that in the case of deliberate fraud credit and the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) needs to take action. On the other hand, the Prosecutor NAB argued that the case against former President Asif Zardari an abuse of power and fraud.

An accountability court issued notice to arrest the circulation Asif Ali Zardari, in which the Prosecutor NAB said that we received notice and we are ready to give an answer today, and urged the court to indict all the accused including Asif Zardari. However, the lawyer of Asif Zardari said that he needed more time to prepare their arguments.

The court decided to postpone the arraignment of all the accused, including the former President Asif Zardari and adjourned the hearing to July 14.
