The Minister of health, Pakistan tested positive for COVID-19, the last major figure in the contract the coronavirus.

“I have a positive result on COVID-19. Under [medical] tips I isolated myself at home and taking all precautions. I have mild symptoms. Please keep me in your kind prayers,” the Minister of health Zafar Mirza said on Twitter.

Pakistan has not yet confirmed more than 229,831 cases 4,762 deaths, according to the government. The country continues to confirm about 4000 new cases per day despite the daily fall in the number of tests.

A number of senior officials were positive in Pakistan, including foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, who said that the virus on Friday, a few days after meeting with U.S. special envoy for Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad.
