Pakistan Pakistani soccer players don’t earn money from playing ‘
KARACHI: Unlike their counterparts around the world, soccer players in Pakistan don’t make much money from playing soccer so they are economically least affected by sportsmen in Pakistan because of the coronavirus pandemic, said the Sindh Football Association (SFA) Football Association secretary. Riaz Ahmed.
“There are around 700 clubs registered in Sindh and all the players who play in the clubs must pay from their own pockets for everything. Most of them play because they love the game, “Riaz told PPI.
He further said that despite the fact that soccer is the most played sport in the country, it is rarely supported by sponsors, government or private departments. From an economic perspective, footballers may not suffer financially due to lack of sports activities at an unusual time due to the coronavirus pandemic.
