Lahore: former Pakistan captain Mohammad Yousuf said that all the name and fame he received because of the country he plays and that he will be glad to return the favor, if he got the chance to coach the national team.

Talking to this scribe, he said that team Pakistan have to be targeted England batting to get the upper hand. Otherwise, the series in England was always difficult, he added.

“Bowling for the home team strong, but they can face problems in batting. I am definitely going to work if I get a chance in the team,” he added.

He said that it is wrong to compare Babar Azam with Virat Kohli. “The comparison is not appropriate, as they have their own styles of play.

“Pakistan has good writing, like Azhar Ali, Asad Shafiq, Babar Azam, Abid Ali and Masood Shan. The responsibility of the coach is to guide the player and expect to win. If the player follows the rules and successfully as it is appreciated,” said the former captain.

He said that now cricket is much easier than in the past. “New balls used from both sides, fields, favourable for feeding and with the advent of T20 cricket, the game has gained much popularity and financial rewards to the players,” he added.
