British-Pakistani businessman Zulfikar Bukhari on Tuesday made a fanciful statement about the boundary line between Imran Khan being Pakistan’s Prime Minister or ‘king’, saying that if Imran wanted it, even Donald Trump would attend their cabinet meeting. Bukhari who currently serves as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan’s Foreign and Human Resources Development said that anyone can attend a Pakistani cabinet meeting about extending the invitation and that the US President can be one of them if invited.
“If the PM wishes, even Donald Trump can sit in a cabinet meeting. Under business rules, anyone can be allowed to sit in a cabinet meeting under the Prime Minister’s invitation. I am not a member, but I can attend the meeting at the invitation of the PM. Weekly invitations are sent, “said Zulfikar Bukhari, responding to criticism for his presence, given his citizenship.

Previously Bukhari enthusiastically supported Imran Khan’s ‘Naya Pakistan Calling’ job portal, which received a warm response from foreign citizens who called it an initiative that would carve out a path for expatriates to get involved in the decision making process and state policy.
Bukhari also supports the leadership of the Imran Khan and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) parties in dealing with the Coronavirus crisis, saying that “Pakistan could be in a completely different place today, if it were not for the right leadership.” His pride in the nation’s handling of Coronavirus came when the count of Pakistan’s coronavirus crossed 263,496 by detecting 1,579 new cases in the last 24 hours along with the national death toll of 5,568. Meanwhile, top leadership in Pakistan and lawmakers also tested positive for the disease including Pakistan’s Health Minister, Zafar Mirza, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, tested positive for COVID.
