The Jahangir, Malir, Gulistan-e-Johar and Goth Paths are facing enormous electric charges

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The sudden power outage for more than 12 hours continued to irritate local residents in Karachi, Dunya News reported on Friday.

According to the details, the Jahangir Road of Karachi, Malir, Gulistan-e-Johar, and the Goth Pehalwan faced enormous electricity loads.

Local residents accuse K-Electric of delaying electricity supplies for hours by deceiving people because of technical errors.

Previously, the National Electricity Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) had issued a notice about the cause to K-Electric for the release of the load without prior notice in Karachi.

NEPRA has directed K-Electric to send a reply within 15 days. The notice said that the company had consistently failed to comply with license conditions and provided uninterrupted power supplies to the city.

The notice states that if K-Electric fails to send a reply, unilateral action will be taken including company permission suspended or revoked.
