Afghanistan says the UN security Council over “breaches” of its Pakistan forces | Instant News

Afghanistan has sent to the UN Security Council over the continued violations of its territory, the Pakistani military stated that he will ask the 15-nation UN to take the necessary measures and actions to stop them if the situation is not normal bilaterally.

Afghanistan’s permanent representative to the UN Adela once wrote to the President of the Security Council, Germany, to report on recent violations of Afghan territory by Pakistan armed forces and said that the invasion constitutes the repetition of violations in Kabul has previously expressed concern in the Security Council in February and August 2019.

Said Once in a letter of 15 July in Pakistan military forces launched an unprovoked artillery attacks on Afghan border posts and civilian residential areas Sarakano and Asad Abad of Kunar province. The attacks included 12 heavy artillery strikes, Assad Abad district and more than 160 artillery shells at Sarakano district. In addition to the four casualties among the Afghan national defense and security forces, the attack killed six civilians, including two women and eight were injured, and significant damage to property of citizens.

“We would like to reiterate, as we have already in previous communications that the issue of violations in Afghanistan, the Pakistani armed forces continues despite numerous calls to the government of Pakistan on a bilateral basis and through other measures to stop the illegal and provocative actions in our sovereign territory.

“In this regard, the Afghan government expresses, once again, condemnation of Pakistan’s failure to comply with its obligations in accordance with the principles of the Charter of the United Nations and international law and international humanitarian law,” she said in the letter.

She said that since the government of Afghanistan is currently working to de-escalate the situation on a bilateral basis, but if not, he will urge the Security Council to take action and the steps necessary to put an end to the violations listed above.

She also requested that letters of complaint about the continuing activities of Pakistan was circulated as a document of the Security Council and continued to write down the link of the de-escalation attempts prove fruitless.
