ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 30 Jul, 2020): Pakistani MNA Tehreek-e-Insaf Dr Shandana Gulzar Khan on Thursday criticized the Sindh government for not giving anything for public welfare despite obtaining funds and demanding an audit of funds provided by World. Bank and Asian Development Bank (ADB) to clean the city nullah.

Speaking with the PTV news channel, He said that the PPP government in Sindh had completely failed to resolve the province’s problems despite being in power for years.

Shandana questioned where the funds allocated to cleanse the Nullah were spent and accused them of being embezzled, adding that, it was a shameful matter for the Sindh government that the funds provided to clean the rainwater channels had been embezzled.

He claimed that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and his government in Sindh had given nothing to the province except corruption and pillaging for the past years.

He said “the PTI still stands for justice; ending bad governance is a priority agenda, adding, the PPP government must answer to its citizens that why the Sindh government has not provided good services”.

When talking about NFC awards, he said that the number of NFC prizes was kept in fake accounts in Sindh.

He said that the most populous city in Pakistan, Karachi, where a country that generates large revenues is ignored by the government of the People’s Party of Pakistan (PPP).

He said that the Sindh government even criticized Ali Zaidi for positively initiating cleanliness efforts in Karachi and creating obstacles in his journey.

The MNA said that the Sindh government did nothing for the urban and rural parts of the province but specifically destroyed Karachi’s infrastructure.

He said that the city’s resources were wasted because the corrupt leadership of the PPP did not have the ability to put the city on track and handle the only province.

They have ruled Sindh for years, but they cannot even solve basic public problems, he added.
